This EP is a collection of covers from some of my favourite bands. Metal was a huge influence for me growing up and it continues to play a significant role in my musical identity. The EP closer "Mechanical Heart" is an original track and serves as a tribute to this style of music I so deeply love.
On the technical side of things, I wrote these covers between Oct 2020-March 2021 on a single gameboy DMG running LSDj. This project originally started as a way for me to learn and practice LSDj without getting overwhelmed with also having to write new music, but over time it also became a way of reconnecting with my young musical self and it ended up refreshing my whole approach to making music. Hope you like it!
